Anchor stranded cotton is a premium quality 6-strand thread that is a favourite worldwide.

Made from double mercerised 100% Egyptian cotton, this thread is soft to handle, and gives a lustrous finish making it ideal for cross stitch, hand embroidery and embellishment of clothes.

Each skein consists of 6-strands, 8 metres in length that can easily be divided into 1, 2 or 3 strands depending on your project requirements. The "pull free" construction allows you to remove the desired length of thread without disrupting the rest of the skein.
