Our Delivery Charges

I’m afraid we no longer offer a postal service of goods to Northern Ireland or international destinations.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours of receipt, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays.  You should receive an automatically generated e-mail confirming your order, and we will send one manually when your order has been dispatched. (Please check your Junk/Spam folders, and add us to your Safe Sender list).

We primarily use Royal Mail and will supply them with your email address/mobile number if we use a trackable service so you’ll receive updates on the delivery status of your items. For larger/bulky orders we may source an alternative courier but will keep you informed.

Our charges are as follows:

Up to £50          £3.69 - Usually sent Royal Mail Tracked 48

Up to £100        £4.99 - Usually upgraded to Royal Mail Tracked 24

Over £100         £3.69 - FREE if order can be sent as Royal Mail small parcel (refund will be issued)

Fair Postage Policy

ALL DECEMBER ORDERS WILL BE SENT BY A TRACKABLE SERVICE, INCLUDING SMALL/LOW VALUE ITEMS

One of our pet hates is ordering something on the internet and paying an unreasonable amount for delivery and packaging which by no means reflects the true cost.

Our minimum charge for packaging and posting is £2.50, and any orders costing us less than that to process will receive a partial refund.

Items of low value weighing under 100 grams i.e. a single fat quarter of quilting cotton fabric, small haberdashery items, individual knitting patterns, embroidery threads, will be sent as a 2nd class large letter where possible. (EXCLUDING DECEMBER)

Please note that Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class delivery times are not guaranteed. Usually 1st class should take 1 to 2 working days and 2nd class 3 to 5 working days.

Missing deliveries Royal Mail - As it is not always possible to track the deliveries, it may be necessary to wait 10 working days after the order should have been delivered before it can be assumed that the delivery is missing. Please allow 12 (1st class) & 15 (2nd class) working days for delivery before contacting us regarding your parcel not arriving.

Please remember to allow a little extra time around Bank Holidays and busy seasonal times of year.
