Clover Pom Pom Makers are the best designed and sturdiest I have used, that's why they're the brand I stock for you.

The design even features a measuring scale on the arches, to show you where ypu can swap to a different colour - so instead of just using a single colour, you can make multi-colour pompoms easily too. 

The 2 small pompom makers in this set are approximately 1 3/8" (35mm), and 1 5/8" (45mm) in diameter.

TOP TIPS.

For a fuller pompom - stretch the yarn tightly while you wind it around the arches, and fill the "tunnel" underneath before closing.

I always tie strong cotton tightly around the pompom 3 times to secure it before finally using matching yarn - remember to leave long tails if you intend to hang it or attach your pompom to something.
